“Using CGM Data Effectively in Clinical Practice”
 

Watch this unbranded 30-minute interactive program below from November 25, 2019, addressed utilization of CGM data in clinical practice, particularly in light of the recent recommendations from the International Consensus on Time in Range (https://doi.org/10.2337/dci19-0028).  The program was led by ASEPA President Ashlyn Smith and Megan O’Neill, PA-C, ASEPA member, and Scientific Affairs Manager at Abbott Diabetes. ASEPA members joined together in the first in this educational series to pose questions, discuss cases, and share insights with their endocrine colleagues.

Aims:

  1. Increase CGM awareness and effective use

  2. Improve outcomes for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes 

  3. Advance the endocrine PA profession through augmenting quality endocrine patient care

  4. Establish a platform for an open dialogue among endocrine providers

  5. Enhance the communication and connections within the ASEPA community
