Endocrinology/Internal Medicine Private Practice in Denver – Creekside Endocrine Associates

Outpatient Internal Medicine/ Endocrinology office in Denver Colorado is looking for an Internal Medicine and/or Endocrine Physician Assistant to join a board-certified Endocrinologist and one other Physician Assistant, to take over a fully-grown practice from a PA who is moving.  Creekside Endocrine Associates has offices in Denver and Lone Tree.

Full time position seeing 8-14 patients per day. No nights. No weekends. No call. As with any medical clinic, charting, record review, and completion can require some after hours work.

Office staff includes a clinical research team, medical assistants, two Certified Diabetes Educators, and a PA. The office focuses on up-to-date diabetes devices such as pumps and CGM.

Endocrine grand rounds held at The University of Colorado Anschutz medical campus can be attended regularly as well as other specialty conferences. There are currently virtual conferences along with expert discussion panels of thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, and adrenal disorders. The practice has a strong commitment to teaching and clinical research.  Internal Medicine residents, 4th year medical students, and PA students rotate with the practice. The position would have the opportunity to allow involvement in teaching and as a co-investigator in research studies within the practice to be exposed to future medications and devices in development and creates an opportunity to earn extra revenue.

This is neither a typical primary care office, nor a typical Endocrinology office. Patient appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes in length for established patients and 60 minutes in length for new patients and more complicated established patients. Both Endocrine and Internal Medicine skill sets are important because the practice serves as primary care for many of the diabetic patients. Physicians, CDEs, and the PA are committed to educating and motivating behavior change in the face of complex medical problems. The patient base has a large contingent of highly educated professionals who expect to be partners in decision making with their physician. New PA graduates are welcome to apply if you already feel a sense of immersion in this field of medicine.

Colorado is an amazing place to live and work. With over 300 days of sunshine per year, an average high temperature in the winter of 50 degrees and an average high temperature in the summer of 85 degrees, it´s always a good time to climb a mountain, hike in one of our spectacular national parks or to just sit on your front porch and enjoy the neighborhood. If you want something else to do, Colorado also boasts eight major league sports franchises, skiing, biking, camping, live theater and concerts, art and history museums, an aquarium and a zoo, to which we are the Endocrine consultant. Denver is rated as one of America’s ´Most Livable Cities.´
